St Austell Holiday

Following the success of the Club holiday in Ilfracombe last year and the one in Penzance this year, some members have been asking for a UK holiday next year, in addition to the Brittany holiday in May (now fully booked). Your hard-working Social Secretaries have responded by putting on a holiday based in St Austell.  This will take place from 6th to 10th October 2025.  Details are on the attached flyer.

Please note that, although you need to arrange your own accommodation, places on the holiday will be limited so that walks can be a reasonable size and that we don’t run into problems finding venues and using public transport because of the size of the group.  If you are intending to join us, therefore, please contact Anne-Marie by text to reserve a place.

As some members will be travelling to the St Austell area to recce walks, a charge will be levied on all holiday participants to cover the cost of recces. This will be advised in due course, but is expected to be very reasonable.

The White Hart Hotel in the centre of St Austell and close to the railway station is likely to be a popular choice for accommodation.  Bookings are already open for the week of the holiday.
