DESCRIPTION:A moderate 5 mile walk from Dartington through North Wood and Staverton Ford Plantation then following the River Dart and Bidwell Brook back to the start. \nThe walk is relatively flat\, but parts following the river can become flooded after heavy rain in which case we will need to shorten it to go via Dartington Hall. \nWalking poles advised.

Alight at Peak Cross bus stop at 11.20. \nIdeal route for those who prefer to get more out of a walk than they put into it as the bus will take us up the hill but we will return by foot down Harpers Hill in to the top end of Totnes so those inclined can enjoy the Saturday market and shops. Inn at the pretty village of Harberton. Some ups and downs. Could be muddy in places. Walking poles advised.
